The light is too bright
in my room
when I wake up at 1 am
tired
remembering
the white giants
gently smiling over me
like doctors
and a tesla coil
with a sharp
thunderbolt
piercing through my heart.

I tried to blame you
for my own mistakes
for making me walk at night
on the wayside of truth
sitting on a bench for lunch
waiting for a nurse to pick us up
bitter coffee
and a royal road
leading me home
to paradise.

The light is too bright
in my room when I wake up at 2 am
crying
knowing that I’m healing.

Remembering standing in my metropolitan apartment
30 degrees outside,
-10 in my heart.
Only Aurora to keep me warm.
Throwing away your photos,
your music,
a picture of your gentle 63 year old hands
which I dearly loved.

Knowing now
I can still love you
from the end of the world.
Somewhere in Bandiria.

“Without diversity
I will suffocate”
you taught me once.
And I hope you will
teach this to all the people
who made me suffocate in your country.
Because now I am finally
healing.
